A Quilters Life

Hello! I'm Michelle Pratt, though you can call me Shell—a nickname my family has used for years and the inspiration behind Seashell Quilting. My journey began as a Navy brat and continued for 30 years as a Navy wife, taking me from Hawaii to every U.S. coast. Along the way, I collected shells, memories, and a deep love for the ocean.

 

When my husband and I retired to New Hampshire, I brought that coastal spirit home with me. As a fabric collector, quilt maker, and bag maker, I found my calling when I became the proud owner of a Gammill Statler Stitcher longarm machine.

 

Now, I get to do what I love most—working with fellow quilters to bring their beautiful creations to life!
